Miss Evans called to ask me to be score keeper at High School Field Day. 8th of October. Typed Charles' letter.
Sunday Sept. 26th.
Very hot. Went to church in the Morning with Charles & Dorothy (Communion Sunday). Went to S.S. Dorothy came along to help me and Aldyth there also. Rally Day so plenty of work. Went to church at night but thunder storm (not bad) started and, as I had promised Mr. Tuer to go up and stay with Mrs. Tuer as she is sick and afraid of thunder storms. I left just as the sermon started. Charles called for me after church. The children (Isabella, Frances & Alice among them) sang the anthem in the Choir at night. Sang same hymn in s.s. Alice and Charlie did not come up as wanted to get home before storm but Duncan was up part of the time we were at Church and Mother was up after Church in the Morning. Finished "Now It can Be Told" by Phillip Gibbs.
