garden for an hour and got the astor beds cleaned and dug for bulbs. Jack McDonald came up with {part?} of letter. re: Mrs. Ferguson. Read it. Mrs. Ferguson called after dinner and she, Charles and I went to Victoria Park to H.S. Field Day (Dorothy went later with Viola Mair and Mar. McDonald. Charles was a Judge and I was taking the score for the girls. Walkerton, Paisley, and Hanover Schools and some of their friends were present. Things well organized and went with a swing. Knit 9 rows on Dorothy's skirt. After tea Charles and I went to the Promenade down in the School. School Orchestra. Fun watching boys and girls. Very nice time. Spoiled somewhat after we left, by some of the usual Hoodlum element - putting coffee in ice cream etc. There seems to be no end of it.
