Duncan came up after tea and we played Seven-Up. Raining, cool.
Saturday Oct. 30th.
Went down town and ordered knives forks & spoons for Dorothy. Got meat. Not so cool as yesterday - nice day. Went down in afternoon & took some books to the Library. Hallowe'en. Went up to see Mother. Had the croup and sat up nearly all night in the chair in the library.
Sunday Oct. 31st.
Both Charles and I feeling sick so we did not go to Church either Morning or evening. Both went to s.s. Mother was up but Charlie and Alice did not come up. Charlie was sick also.
Monday Oct Nov. 1st.
Raining all night and most of the day. Real November day. Read "A Poor Wise Man." still feeling wretched with croup. Went down town in the afternoon.
