to-morrow night on 'The League of Nations' or 'Canada's share in the League of Nations" so he did not go to church in the Morning and, as Mr. Tuer was in Pt Elgin preaching anniversary services and a Lord's Day Alliance man preached in our church, I did not go either. As it was wet Mother went home in the car with Charlie and so was not up. Both went to S.S. and in the evening to hear Dr. Margaret McKellar. Mrs. Bell invited us up after Church to meet Miss McKellar but Mr. McQueen had said he was coming around after church so we had to come home. Alice and Charlie joined us later.
Monday Nov. 8th.
Beautiful day. Typed Green Cavill Inquest for Charles (14 pages) and took it to the office. Had a 5 Mile walk (McManus corner to Moore Corner) Knit 3½ inches of skirt for Frances (finished ½ of skirt). Also typed Charles Summary for to-night and heard him say his piece. Called at
