dinner and sounded Charles. Apparently alright but must stay in bed a few days yet. Went down to office with letter to post. Mr. Bell called. Mr. Farney came over to see me about some sort of an entertainment for some boys. After tea I went to Dr. Rannie's for my innoculation. Mr. George Reid called to see Charles.
Tuesday Nov. 30th.
Charles still in bed. Mr. Kyle called this morning. Wrote an account of the concert for the Enterprise. Went down town after dinner and up to see Mother who is in bed. She got up Sunday but had to go to bed again. Her cold is better but her stomach is bothering her. Wrote to Dorothy, Nell, Franck, Mrs. Goodeve and Mrs. Blair. (the two last being letters of sympathy)
Wednesday Dec. 1st.
Rained during the night and several showers during the day. Wind in the East. Dark dismal day. Wrote 3 letters for Charles who is still in bed. Went
