the Morning. The Home people did not come up after church. Too slippery I expect.

Monday Jan. 3rd.

Beautiful sunshiny day. Went down to the bank in the morning. Wrote to Clare, Miss Leslie and Ferna called in the afternoon. Elected old council & W. P. King. All men running on labor ticket defeated. By-law to buy Town Hall carried. Wrote to Aunt Carrie and Aunt Anaise. Dorothy, Charles & Doug. playing chess.

Tuesday Jan. 4th.

Nice springlike day. Wrote account of presentation last night and added list of contributors this morning and took it down to Enterprise office. Dorothy went down at same time and I went to Miss Milne's with her. Mended Dorothy's underwear ready for her to take away with her. Went down town to get some new bands. Cleared ice of {off} sidewalk down to big tree. Dorothy and Douglas Nickle at an afternoon
