shorthand, 2 letters - 14 pages type writing. Went to Miss Milne's to fit dress. Called at office and was given 2 affts to do. Then finished the entries up to date. After tea went down to the public Library for books.

Sunday Jan. 16th.

Very stormy - real blizzard. Snow plough did not go along sidewalks. Charles and I went to church in the Morning & to S.S. I went to Church at night. Charlie and Alice Jean there but Charlie decided it was too Stormy for them to come up. Read " The Valley of Silent Men."

Monday Jan. 17th.

Very cold day. Did some mending and a notice for Charles. Went down town for meat. Jean Bell called & I went over on afternoon train to say good bye to Ferna. (Went to Mrs. Ferguson's in the Morning for cards she had completed. went {?} to train to Mrs. Irvine's. Called at Stanley's
