Rained very heavily in the night. Mild day. Went to walk over to get Charles' boots and to Eaton's to get him a cane for his birthday. Nell and Dorothy with us. Went to Queen's Hotel & took Dorothy & Gwen to lunch. Bells having lunch there. Visited in their room awhile. Went home. Went to Eaton's for cane & book & in to Dick's office. Mr. Douglas took us to the Station from there as Dick
