Tuesday Feb.1st.

Beautiful day - quite mild. Spent 2 hours at office work. Went down to the office and then out to Shouldice's corner (2 mile walk) Road quite hard and dry. (Snow well packed where is any but dusty in parts.) Mrs. Mair called in the afternoon and had quite a nice little visit. Started Phillip Gibb's "The Street of Adventure" in the evening and did some French.

Wednesdat Feb. 2nd.

Still mild but snowing a little. Got Mrs. Ferguson Fund account & S.S. collection ready and took to Bank. Called at office & Enterprise to deliver cheques re fund. Had to write 5 letters for Charles after dinner & then Scurry around to get a box away to Dorothy. Went around to Mrs. Ferguson's but found her out so went to the office & did entries. Then
