Called on Mrs. Maxwell (out) and started down town to get my throat burnt but met Mrs. M.A. & stopped to talk to her & Mrs. Maxwell joined us. Spent the evening trying to hunt up something for a scotch dialogue for Scotch Supper on Feb. 24. Not time to get anything ready. Hockey train for back about 1.15 a.m. Chesley won (Chesley & Hanover playing off in Owen Sound) 4-3. Now playing in Second district. Charlie came home on Hockey train.
