Very dark morning. Had lights on all day until about 4 o'clock. Did My Mending. Very bad hail storm ({removed?} once or twice stones as large as a big Marble.) Them tremendous rain (water went right over top of Scone dam. Charlie's orchard & lower lawn flooded. River on side walk down McGaw street hill.) Duncan was up in the Morning. Went to the Public Library & on down town in the Afternoon. Came home & went for a little walk until 6. Called to see Mrs. Leitch when down town. Went over to see Mrs. Hooper after tea. *
