Tuesday Mch 22nd
Went with Dorothy to dressmaker's in the Morning. Ripped the coat of her brown broadcloth suit which she is going to have made into a dress. Went down town for some ham & then for a short walk. (Nice day - cool) Mr. McQueen was here for tea and went away for an hour to come back later to play Seven-up. Dorothy made a salad and iced the cake.
Wednesday Mch. 23rd.
Wrote some letters for Julius. Went down town for Meat. Called at Carters, Leitch's, Rannie's, Crow's,Mrs. M.A. Halliday's, Mrs. Maxwell's. Mrs. Ferguson & Mrs. Sanderson's, Mrs. Biehn's and Mrs. Cobean's to ask them to a tea to-morrow. Mr. McQueen called at 5 p.m. and stayed until 6. (Selected paper for drawing room when he was here this morning). Julius and I went to lecture by Mr. {Moore?} on "Inexpensive Flower Gardens, Trees and roses." Very good and slides were good.
