Tuesday Mch 22nd

Went with Dorothy to dressmaker's in the Morning. Ripped the coat of her brown broadcloth suit which she is going to have made into a dress. Went down town for some ham & then for a short walk. (Nice day - cool) Mr. McQueen was here for tea and went away for an hour to come back later to play Seven-up. Dorothy made a salad and iced the cake.

Wednesday Mch. 23rd.

Wrote some letters for Julius. Went down town for Meat. Called at Carters, Leitch's, Rannie's, Crow's, Mrs. M.A. Halliday's, Mrs. Maxwell's. Mrs. Ferguson & Mrs. Sanderson's, Mrs. Biehn's and Mrs. Cobean's to ask them to a tea to-morrow. Mr. McQueen called at 5 p.m. and stayed until 6. (Selected paper for drawing room when he was here this morning). Julius and I went to lecture by Mr. {Moore?} on "Inexpensive Flower Gardens, Trees and roses." Very good and slides were good.
