Mar. McDonald & Jean Krug in playing bridge in the afternoon and went to the Bijou in the evening with Vi Mair.
Thursday Mch. 24th.
Wrote some letters for Julius. Went down town to get some supplies. Charlie brought Mr. Moore up and he gave me some suggestions as to fixing lawn. Got ready for tea at (3 - 6) after dinner. Present: - Alice, Mrs. M.A. Halliday, Mrs. Cobean, Mrs. Leitch, Mrs. Crow, Mrs. Rannie, Mrs. Sanderson, Mrs. Davey, Mrs. Mair, Mrs. Beattie, Mrs. Stewart. I asked Mrs. Carter, Mrs. Ferguson & Mrs. Biehn but they were all going to a tea at Mrs. Elliot's. I also invited Myrle Safana and Mrs. McNeel but they were to be out of town. The ladies seemed to enjoy themselves although it started to rain at 1 p.m. and rained most of the afternoon and evening. Eva Neelon, Mar.., Ken Krug, & Ida Halladay called for Dorothy to go to station. Dorothy to meet Gwen, Eva & Mar., Will & Mr. Neelon, Is - Edna & Jen. {Wellin?}.
