1868 {this is February}

1 Billie got home from Brockville this morning I spooled & quilled lit snow with wind Ad came home
2 no meeting to day little snow with heavy wind
3 stormy this morning a very cold I spool & quilled
4 Billie went to Marble Rock Mill with 3 bags of wheat 2 of Rye & 2 of Buckwheat he went with Henery Young & there teem Ad went away again Humphrey Young took Doll to the Road to work with trip
5 Dr Richman his Wife & Miss Ferguson came here on a visit a fine day
6 snow & wind most of the day I quilled
7 Do Do Do
8 fine day the roads very bad
9 snow & wind no Meeting to day the roads is blocked up
10 no stir to day yet
11 there has no tems been o nthe roads yet the drift was so great that the roads is compleatly blocked up the boys is going to school I am quilling the wind was in the south then the North from that to East then west
12 Robert Beatty came here with a grist to go to Gananoque Mill last night him & Billie went there to day very stormy this morning fine day afterwards
13 Roby went home this morning very stormy with snow this afternoon I quilled
14 snow this morning the Boys at school I quilled
15 storming this morning Billie got B.Youngs horses David, Isabla Vestus Hicock & his sister came here this afternoon. John Scott John Robinson & Jane Armstrong came up with the Express
16 no meeting to day David & Hicock went home
17 very storm day it snowed & stormed all day & drifted so that there is no trains
18 the train is of the track at Robinsons, last night Express is not here at 10 oclock fine day John Scott John Robinson & Jane Armstrong went away on the Express at 8 oclock P.M.
