packed. Took me an hour and a half. Snowed hard all days. More snow than we have had for some years: Must be 4 feet deep. Called at Mr Kellerman's with Receipt for Mrs King flowers. Alivelda Snot (Johnston) and Viola Mari very cool to me because Dorothy did not invite them to her dance. small town - petty ideas. Put a tuck in D's dress and washed & ironed her collat and washed her brassiere.
January 4 (Sunday)
Very Cold day. Went to Church in the Morning and to S.S. Did not go to church in the evening as I had to help Dorothy pack her trunk. Edna, Mar. & Pearl were up to see Dot after church. 15° below zero at night. None of Charlie's family up. Mr. & Mrs. Tuer came up after church. Wrote to Clare and Nell. Slept inside 1st night this Winter.
January 5 (Monday)
Got up at 5.30 a.m. Charles did not get up. Went to the station with Dorothy who starts out for a new school adventure at Margaret Eaton School. Edna Halladay left
