1920 February 14 (Saturday)

Getting Colder. Was writing Library Cards most of the Morning. Finished all the cards there were and there are still about 36 Names to write. Finished "The Clash". Duncan came up after dinner and brought me some snaps and a letter from Adelaide to read. Wrote up notes on "The Clash." Went to Public Library and accessioned the rest of the books for Mrs. Ferguson. Went on down town and came home & shovelled off the walk. Snowing quite hard and drifting badly. Ferna came over and spent the evening and we had a nice chat. The train is very late. Had not left Stratford when it should have been in Chesley. Jim Stewart's body is expected on it. Charles tired out so cannot wait up for it. Practised about 20 Minutes only.

February 15 Sunday.

Very stormy. Went to church in the Morning. As there are about 20 cases of Flu in town the Board of health decided to close up Schools, Churches, Library,
