Reading Room, Skating Rink, Bijou & Pool Room & allow no social Gatherings. Order to come into effect at 1 o'clock to-day so there will be no Church to-night or S.S. Saw Charlie and family at Church in the Morning. Got very Stormy and quite cold. About 4.20 I went out to shovel out the path and finished it about 5 o'clock. Played the piano for about an hour. Read "The Scarlett Letter." Charles had a fine rest. After tea Mr. Caldwell telephoned to say that Clarice had influenza. Little Emma Wettlaufer very ill with pneumonia. Train did not get in Saturday night until about 3.30 a.m. After Church Charles and Mr. M.A. went down to Stewart's and then over to see Mr. Blair who is quite ill. (heart) found him sitting up. Slept in.

February 16 Monday.

Still storming with the sun shining occasionally amid the storm. Went out and shovelled the walk. Wrote to Miss Ward and Mr. McQueen. Practised three quarters of an hour. Was type writing all afternoon. Charles went to
