her sweet voice. She says she is going to do all kinds of things now she is 21.

March 18 Monday

Mr. Caldwell still away. Did the entries in the morning and continued my picture letter. Then Charles phoned for me to come down and do some affidavits. When I came home I proceeded with picture letter. Wrote a note to Clare at the office. After dinner shovelled for awhile. Snow was pretty icy so found a little was enough. If Charles wants me he is to telephone for me. Went down town about 5 o'clock. Duncan came up after tea to see "Life." His dad is making an Irish window display. Went to attic & got old harp for Duncan.

March 16th. Tuesday

Worked for Charles. Then did my picture letter. Shovelled the rest of the side walk up to McCannell's. Mrs. M.A. Halliday called. Finished my letter. Mr. & Mrs. Tuer came up about a quarter to ten for a little while. Fine Spring day. Thawing. Freezing & Snowing at night.
