Aunt Maggie. So cool we required a fire in the grate to-night. Wrote 3 letters for Charles. Mother came home from Toronto late train.
Saturday Thursday May 29th.
Went down town in the morning for meat. Wrote a letter (long one) for Charles. After dinner went to Hanover (Party: Charles, Charlie, Alice sn., Duncan Bill and myself) to Mr. Engel's funeral. We sat in the car while the two Charlies attended the services on the lawn. Then as there was still a Masonic Service to come, we left and came home. Went to Miss Milne's to fit my suit blouse. Washed my hair after tea.
Sunday May 30th.
Went to church twice & to S.S. Tyed a list of names for Honour Roll to be put up in vestibule of church and also three notices for church. Mother came up after church. While we were at S.S. she went to see Miss Annie Milne & Charlie called for her after S.S. After church at night Charlie, Alice (sn) and Margaret came up for awhile.
