Alice; Margaret & Alice Stevens came up to see about dresses for the float and I found them here when I got home. Hot & dry.

Wednesday June 2nd.

Went down town for meat. Geraniums and Salvia came. Helped Mr. Clifton a little with them. Wrote to Clare. Went down to Mrs. Crow's for my lesson. Found Mr. Tuer and girls waiting for orders re float when I got home. After tea Mr. & Mrs. Tuer Charlie, Duncan, Margaret, Alice, Margaret Fry, Frances, Isabel, Margaret & Mary Steven and Annie Sloan were all here and we were all busy working at the 2 floats which were in the back yard "Armenia aids Canada" and the Horticultural Float. Hot - rained about 10 drops or so in the evening. Much cooler after tea.

Thursday June 3rd.

Got up at 5.30 a.m. Mr. Tuer came along about 6 a.m. Put up flags on pole, horse & pony house. Helped on floats and got them started off.
