Mended Charles' trousers where they were torn when he was hurt. Helped Duncan Measure off tennis court. Mrs. Beattie and Mrs. Biehn called to ask me to write an address for Mr. & Mrs.C. Smellie's 15th anniversary of their wedding Day, and a surprise party going out there. (I could not go as Charles coming home.) Went down town for the Mail. Played several games of tennis with Duncan. Wrote the address. Typed it after tea. Mrs. Beattie called for it. Began to rain about a quarter to 7. Rained heavily till about 10. Went to the station to meet Charles. Mr. Beattie came in from Smellie's to take him from the station and we came home in the car. Had to help Charles to bed. Sorry I could not go to Smellie's. Jen King invited me to go to Walkerton in the afternoon but had to stay home and write the address.

Tuesday June 8th.

Phone rang at 7 a.m. Dr. Rannie asking Charles to go out to make Mr. Fiddis' will. Got ready (helped him)
