of travelling for the Mills. After church Charlie, Alice, Mr. D. Steven and Jack Steven and his English wife were up. They leave (Jack & his wife) for Regina Tuesday Morning. After they left I walked over to the station with Dorothy to post a couple of letters. Raining in night.

Monday July 12th.

Raining in Morning then very hot. Orange celebration in Owen Sound so very quiet here. Wrote a letter for Charles. Wrote to Miss McNaughton and Mr. Atkinson for Mrs. McGregor. Also to Clare, Frank and Aunt Annie. Went to enquire for Miss Milne. Did some weeding when I came back. Knit the sash for Dorothy's orange sweater - do some more weeding after tea and did some {sentry?} {go.?} Charles at Red Cross meeting until after 10.

Tuesday July 13th.

Knocked a lot of potato bugs off the potatoes. Went down town to get some ice cream for dinner as it was Court day and Turkey case on and
