Charles wanted dinner at 12 o'clock. Wrote to Len Carter, Mr. Phillips and Irene Frazier. Went down to get some ham for tea as Judge Greig and Mr. Start coming for dinner. After dinner, about 8 o'clock, went down to Public Library with Dorothy to get a book for her to read. Judge Greig & Mr. Start left shortly after 8 as going on late train. Telegram arrived saying Jack Reid was coming on the late train so Charles and I went over to meet him. He stayed with us as Charlie and family away to the Lake.
Wednesday July 14th.
Went down about 8.20 a.m. for bacon and milk for breakfast, (as cream sour.) After breakfast went up to Mother's with Jack. Charles and I went over to the station with Jack. Margaret Miskie & Sophia Albright waiting at station. Saw them all off. After dinner played double solitaire with Dorothy. Went over to enquire how Miss Milne was - somewhat brighter.
