called at Biehn's for Mother. She stayed with us for tea. Mr. McNeel was up for tea, too and went to church with us. Mother went home when we went to Church. Fine sermon. Did sentry go with Charles for awhile after church. Wore my suit,
Monday July 19th.
Wrote {Ryrie?} Bus. and parcelled up my Jewellry and sent to them to be repaired. Also wrote Murray Kay re. vests addressed Dorothy's trunk and got it expressed by noon train & wrote card to Mr. McCarrel. Typed 25 letters to Mrs. Ferguson's old pupils asking them to act as committee and had some telephoning re addresses. Went down town in the afternoon. Wrote to Walk. over Shoe Shine Store about oxfords. Called at Miss Milne's, Mrs. M.A. Halliday's, Tuer's and did some weeding after tea, and then went to see Mrs. Caldwell about 9 p.m. as had not been feeling well. Alma Halliday was to come home from Guelph to-night. Lottie was coming with her. Cool at night - wore coat in the Morning.
