Mother got home just as we were going to leave so we visited awhile. Met Mrs. Biehn at her door as we were coming home and went back down to Lustig's with her. Very cool night.

Sunday July 25th.

Got up at a quarter to seven. Mr. Davey called about ten o'clock for a couple of parcels which he was taking up to Clare for us. Charles and I went to church. Mother came home with me and stayed until church time at night. I went to S.S. After S.S. Mother and I viewed the garden. Met Mr. McQueen on my way to S.S. Just returned two weeks ago from England. He called to see Charles but he was asleep so he talked to Mother. Charles and I went to church. Mr. & Mrs. Hilts were there and Charles stayed to speak to them so I came on home alone. In the Morning wrote to Clare and Mrs. Davey. Cool day, wore my heavy black dress and wore my coat as well to church at night. After Church Mr. McQueen
