out with a loaded car. Had dinner. Kept score for Charles and Duncan at Golf Links. Clare & Dorothy playing too. Walked up to the post office with Clare and went for a launch ride in the Naidauac. Had supper. Charlie, Alice, Doug and Nell here and the rabbits were centre of attention. (Doug's thoroughbred rabbits sent him by his uncle Archie). Dorothy at Dance in Wiarton.

Wednesday July 28th. Cool day. Rained in Morning. Wrote to Mother, Mrs. Ryan and Blanche Gillies. Went down to the dock to see the boys work at boat. Was over at Charlie's cottage. Duncan drove us part way to Dr. Middlebro's cottage (car broke down on the road so had to walk part way) to see him re: Mrs. Caldwell. Invited to a shower at Forsyth's for Dan McDonald. Did not go. Charles had to go back to Miss Milne's funeral. Alice came over in evening and we were learning to play bridge. (Jack and I against Clare and Nell.) Isabel and Doug played cribbage at other cottage. Dorothy at a dance at Margaret Kastner's.
