Duncan took them for a launch ride. Bad thunderstorm in the night. Cool to-day. Barometer still falling. Did some more puttying. Went down to dock to see "Ginger" let down into water to get engine in and walked up to Walsh's Hill with Charles for a walk. Had a fire over at Charlie's so we all went over. Wrote to Mother & Mrs. Luttrell.

Sunday August 1st.

Quite cool - wore My black dress and a sweater. Dick arrived last night. In the morning we walked down to Davey's to see Mrs. Davey. Went to church. Mr. Pilkie of O Sound preached. Fire at Charlie's. We went for a launch ride after church. All went to Charlie's and the whole bunch sang hymns. Rained almost all night.

Monday August 2nd.

Beautiful day. Dick, Nell, Dug, Duncan went fishing. Jack and Charlie busy in "Ginger." Dorothy & I worked at windows. Dick left about 1.30 for Toronto. Charlie, Alice, Clare, Nell, Dug and Isabel & Duncan went into Wiarton - all to come back in
