Charlie's car. Mended Charles pyjamas. Knit some of Dorothy's sweater - sash. Worked at My centre-piece. Walked up to Jas. Clarke's to meet the party who were playing golf. Walked down to the dock to see how boat was getting along. Duncan, Alice, Dorothy and Nell played bridge. cool at night.

Tuesday Aug. 3rd.

Wrote a letter for Charles. Beautiful day. Mended a sheet. Knit a little at Dorothy's sash. Puttied two windows and a quarter. Went out for a launch ride. Men putting windows in for Regatta Day. Wrote to Harry Dobie, M. Caldwell, and Mrs. Cavill. Bert died at 3 o'clock Monday.

Wednesday Aug. 4th.

Regatta Day - beautifu day. Went out to put out buoys. darned Dorothy's stockings. Dinner set for 12 o'clock an hour late as usual. Went down to the dock for awhile, came back to see if Alice would go down. "No." Went back for awhile, came up with Dorothy. Went back. Went up to P.O. for mail. Harold Wright
