Mrs. Beattie, Julius and I went to the Methodist Church to hear Miss Frances Nickawa, the Cree Indian elocutionist who is said to be a Second Pauline Johnson. She was very good indeed in her Indian numbers and, although very homely when dressed in her white gown, looked quite presentable in her Indian costume. Not yet a Pauline Johnson. Friday May 13th

Few showers to-day. Was at the office. At 2 p.m. went to Johnston's for my last lesson in elocution as Myrle leaves next week. Went from there to the office and worked the rest of the afternoon. (Went to Miss Milne's in the Morning to fit My tricolette dress. After tea Mr. Lipsett, Reginald, Julius and I planted one rose hedge between Lipsett's and our garden. Mrs. Beattie sent up some
