Tuesday May 17th.

As Margaret was feeling weak and wretched with her cold she spent the day in bed. Took up her meals and was up several times. Went to the office at 10 a.m. and worked until dinner time. Felt wretched after dinner so had a tiny snooze. As Margaret was sleeping went down to see Mrs. Tuer. Watered my borders planted some columbine and put aster seeds in round bed in front of library window. Wrote to Dorothy. Went down to post letter and to Public Library to help Josie Stanley who is taking Mrs. Ferguson's place while she is in Toronto.

Wednesday May 18th.

Little warmer to-day. Margaret stayed in bed until dinner time. I worked at the office all Morning and finished My letters and two probates at the house after dinner. Margaret was reading and writing letters so I wrote to Frank, Nell, Dorothy, Homer
