After dinner took up the tulips in the other bed and Margaret and I went to call on Mrs. M.A. Halliday and then took a walk over Overhead Bridge. Did some gardening after tea and Mr. Phillips put in the geraniums and ageratums. Charles got home in time for tea.

Thursday May 26th.

Beautiful day. Went down for Meat in the Morning. Went down for the Mail after dinner (half holiday so no one got it) and spent the rest of the time with Margaret. Julius and I went to the station with her. After tea did some watering and went up to see Mother. Charlie, Alice, Grace Steven and I had a drive around the 5 Mile block & Charlie brought me home. (Before I went up the hill wrote to Mrs. McCaul & Dorothy and Mrs. Leitch and Mrs. Crow called to see me.
