seven up with the children. Planted 36 asters after tea. Showery to-day. Thunder storm as the funeral left the house. Frank died in a thunder storm and was buried in a thunder storm. Poor Adelaide and poor Mother. Isabel and Doug went with Mrs. Ryan to have a ride on the Merry go round at the Park. (here for 3rd of June.) Heavy shower came up just after they left. Took coats and umbrella over to the park for them. Dick left on the afternoon train.

Sunday May 29th.

Beautiful day. Hot. Charles and I went to church in the morning. (Nell and Doug stayed at home.) Went to S.S. Patriotic Day. Children's Choir which also sang in church at night - the regular choir sitting in the back gallery. After s.s. we went to the cemetery and then on up to see Mother, Clare & the rest. The rest were out for a drive. After Church (Got sandwiches ready before I went)
