Thursday June 2nd.

Nice day. Planted about 100 snapdragon plants. Went to the office. Miss Milne phoned for me but when I went down had someone from the country so am to go in the afternoon. Watered the snapdragons at noon. Spent the afternoon at the office. Planted nasturtiums after tea. Hunted out flags for Mr. Caldwell. Julius and I walked over to park to see Palmer's Circus (Merry-go-Round etc.) Then went to Mrs. Beattie's to see about parade for Horticultural Society. Came home for poles and then came home a second time for hat for Doris McCoy. Raining hard. Wrote to Clare.

Friday June 3rd.

Celebration day and it rained all night & did not clear up until late afternoon. Parade
