lunch on Kincardine Beach & left for home a few minutes after seven. Lovely drive home. Route - Tiverton, Underwood, Lovat, Paisley. Got home about 9 p.m.
Thursday June 9th.
Fine day. Little shower in the Morning. Spent some time trying to get earring out of Mrs. Ryan's ear. Went to the office in the Morning. Half-holiday. Went up to see Mother in the afternoon and took her some snapdragon plants. Charlie, Duncan, Frances & Isobel drove me home in the car via William Elliot's Mill. Watered all my flower beds. Charles & Mr. Caldwell played tennis at 5 p.m. and after tea Duncan came up and played with his Uncle Charlie & found out how little he knew about the game. Darned my stockings. Mrs. Ryan went to Dr. Morgan and it took him about 15 min. to get her ear
