called at the Manse to ask Mr. Tuer to take S.S. to morrow as M.A. ill with lumbago. Very cool in the evening.

Sunday June 12th.

Nice day but cool. Went to church & S.S. Mother came up after church. Went over to M.A.'s to get hymns for S.S. Called on Mrs. Hooper. Went to church at night. Only Charlie there so he did not come up. Fire in grate in evening.

Monday June 13th.

Did some work in the garden before breakfast. Went to the office. Went back after dinner. Got through about 4 o'clock and went to see Mrs. Leslie. Called in the Morning to see Mrs. Leitch. After tea did some weeding. Charles, Mr. Caldwell, Harold Mair & Roy Reid played tennis. Went to Meeting of Public Library Board. Not enough there- just Dr. Rannie Mr. C. Ankenmann & Myself so Meeting postponed. Quite cool all day & especiallly so at night. Mr. Lamb putting oak floor down in hall upstairs.
