Mrs. Ferguson came home, too, so we went round to her home with her. As usual Dorothy and I talked until midnight.(Watered & weeded.)

Thursday June 16th.

Nice day. Went to the office in the afternoon morning. Half holiday. Went to store with Dorothy in the Morning. Dorothy & Mr. Caldwell played Charles & Mr. Tuer at tennis - Dorothy & Mr. C. winning. I wrote to Clare and Nell. In the evening went to a party out at Smellie's with the Beattie's. Had good time. Good crowd there. Recited "Seventy-nine" and "Marguerite De Roberval. Came home in Mr. Smellie's car. Rained hard in night.

Friday June 17.

Fine day. Went to office in Morning and in afternoon for awhile. At noon went to see Mrs. Beattie. At 4.40 p.m. Dorothy called at office & we had ice cream at Buckley's and came home. Did some gardening. Charles, Mr. Caldwell, Harold Mair & Roy Reid played tennis. Went
