Mrs. Beattie came over and we weeded a couple more flower beds. Dorothy out.

Sunday June 26th.

Awfully hot day. Went to church twice and to S.S. Charles spoke at the Oddfellows' Decoration service at the Cemetery in the afternoon. As it was so hot I did not go up. Dorothy went down to stay with Mrs. Tuer while we were at church at night and I called for her after church. Red Cross Sunday so I stayed after church to help take down our flags. Charles and Alice were up for awhile. Wrote letters of sympathy to Mrs. Gillies, Nicola, and Mrs. (Dr.) June Halliday, Minto, N.D.

Monday June 27th.

Very hot day. As I was not needed at the office this morning I spent the Whole Morning weeding. Fixed up the border under the dining room windows. Got my S.S.
