Th. 1st. Diging potatoes, wet.

F. 2nd. Diging potatoes

S. 3rd. Cleaned the sitting room stove pipes. Sawed, split and hauled some wood to the old school house for church purposes. Paid Robert MacLachlin 20 cts for tempering my axe. Bought of James George One pair of boots for Eddie. Two Dolrs. also a pair for myself Two Dolrs and a half. 4.50 to A/C. Agreed to Deliver Nine cords of wood ( 2 feet 10 in long) To James George the wood to be cut as soon as possible and hauled in in early sleighing time. Our A/C with Doctor Douglas for attendance on Mother after deducting wood A/C is Four Dolrs seventy five cents which I agreed to pay in wood, the wood to be chopt into lengths of four feet ten inches and sawn through the middle. The wood to be delivered in early sleighing. Bought of Gordon goods to the amt. of Fourteen Dolrs. Ninety Six cents, vir.--11
