W 18th. A Chest for Maria from Rinsie which Christian will settle for me. price ) Maria received a letter from her Father. Th 19th. Sold a pig to the Potter for one Dol. which he will settle with Mother. F 20th. Finished haying. William Stafford Wagon half day S 21st. Posted a letter to Robert Young on Lodge business. Also a letter to Mrssrs. Christie & Corbett enquiring for my old notes which have not been sent. Delivered Notes to the parties who standa good for Rent belonging to the different congregations preaching in the Good Templars Hall. T. 24th. Received the Deeds from Roy also the Mortgagges for the Gobles & paid him for the same the sum of $71/2 Dolrs. Received from Iden Goble the sum of Seven & a half Dolrs. Made a bargain with James Salter to cut six and a quarter acres of pease for twenty buahels. W. 25th. Hoe & upright for cradle 68 cents of MacLachlin F 27th. Fred working. S. 28th. Fred working. Salter hoeing Turnips, but board from Kinsies 121/2 Dolrs. which CF Schwendker will selltle for me. M 30th. Made a bargain with Mr James Salter to hoe my turnips for the sum of Three & a Half Dolrs. this pay also for the days work on Saturday. Commenced cutting Fall wheat in the field next to Georges. it was rather green. Mr J. Goble working in the house. Fred working. Fifty one lbs of Oats to Salter. Sent.
