J. 26th. Settled with John Zant for thrashing and other work his A/C against me $31.75 cts my A/C against him $17.75 cts. balance due him $14.ct

W. 27th Salter wagon half day. Hitched my long sleigh from MacLachlins shoeing $4.30 cts.

Th. 28th. My Sow pigged eleven pigs three of which are dead.

F. 29th. Received five york shillings as a deposit. Received my two small binding chains from MacLachlins 30 cts. Traded with Fred my old box & my little box and the bookkeeper for a Violin & book. Another little pig died.

April M. 1st Hauled 350 Rails out of Davidsons Swamp

T. 2nd Robert, Father & Mother moved into Robs house.

Th. 4th. One meal of victuals to Fred 5d.
