W 4th. James not working. Rob my Oxen half day hauling rails.

Th. 5th. James not working. Philip my Oxen hauling pease.

F. 6th. James not working.

S 7th. James not working. Philip helping me to cut pease all day. Rob helping half day.

S. 8th.

M. 9th. James not working. Rob. & Phil. helping me to cut pease 3/4 of a day each. posted a letter to Mr James Craig Dumblane.

T. 10th. James commenced working again. Myself 3/4 of a day for Rob on J. Gobles A/C Phil with a grist half day himself and horses for me.

W. 11th. James and me broke our engagement he not being able to fulfil his part from ill health. One Axe handle to Rob 121/2 cts.
