31st. Th. Father half a day at Shingles and half at the Barn. Myself 1 day at Barn.

F. 1st. Father half day making shingles. Father and me half day each at the barn. Paid the A/C at E. Gordons $5.19 cts. Paid the A/C at L & Rubys $2.10 cts. Paid for Mending shoes to J. George 25 cts. One Dollar to James Davidson. Flour to Davidson Received of Father Schwendker four gold pieces. Let Ruby have them to take to the Bank. Received $10 on the Same from Ruby.
