T. 19th. Commenced thrashing my Wheat. Mr. Ebys machine. John Staffords Team and old Mr Shupe David Hilborn and Team, James Davidson, James Salter, James Stewart, Rochard Hadden, Robert Craig, Moffat Craig, John Born, Pattersons Team and Moses Detwiler. this team was three quarters of a day.
W. 20th. Thrashing with the same teams and hands as yesterday finished by noon. of this day and a half Robert is responsible for three quarters of a day. This afternoon attended a meeting in Port Elgin for the purpose of organizing a Volunteer Infantry Company. Robert, Fred, and myself joined.
