Saturday June 9th

Frank and I wemnt dfown to Aunty's as soon as we could get started this moerning and got the gtrass that old Reed cut out in front n the road and we cut. alot more and brought it home in the waggonn box for the horses. It was after eleven when we got home so i started to cut the lawn and finished it after dinner Frank heled Dad. (who has been working at the mudhole in the lane all day) till i got through with the lawn and then he and I went back and stretched a barbed wir along John Wess' line from the wheat to within a panel and a halff of the little block of woods. We then came up and went over to the stump for. aswim. It was the first of ther season for us and I found the water pretty cold, so didn't stay long Dad. had a bad headache and fwlt sick just before tea to-night. Frank went down town to-night. It has been a very hot and sulr=try day.
