Saturday June 23rd

Dad. and Frabk hauled manure this morning but didn't get so many out as they were cleaning out the box stall. The last load they put asround the tomato plants in the old garden. I cut lawn till about eleven and then went and helped them get the hay out of the lane that Frank cut the other day. Justr before dinner it commenced to rain and kept it up pretty much all the after noon. It was a nice gentle rain and will do a lot of good as the ground was getting pretty well baked after the heavy rains of a week ago. Frank and I made another post this after noon and Dad. chored around. Frank and I went down town to-night and I got my hair cut. I took some eggs over to Jack.
