and then it was most decidely wet as we had a very thnder storm and it was rainy and sunny by turns all day. Frank and I didn't know whether to go down and get a load of slabs and run chance of getting wet or whether to stay home and make. apost so we woulnd up by doing neither. Charlie Shand was in to tell us they were going to do road work next week, he had to go on ob=ver to Martu=in's, Quanbury and Fleming's so I rode around with him and asked Jack Martin if I could ship my eggs with his and he said I could. I went down toewn to-ngith and had some strawberries at Miss Martin's.
