manure on in with corn and the rest of the piece witb buck whrat. We won't expect any corn off it of course but will get some good fodder if all's well. Dad. and I took John up to the Miller's tis morning and then Dad. took Enah down town and I thinned a few mangles before dinner. This after noon dad and I cultivated the mangels and portatoes and before hoed some more. Dick and ess cam eover about five and were here all evening. It has ben fine, sunny and not too hot.
