soaked it for an hour or more. The original spot seems to be healing nicely but the numerous breaking out around it are getting very sore. Dad. and Frank dug potatoes all morning and I wet out for about an hour before noon to help them. Two of ham Thompsons kids wer down this morning to say that Ham was going to fill his silo this morning afyer noon so Frank and I went up after dinner. We were up there till after dark and then had tea up there but didn;t finsih the job as the corn was so wet it kept plugging up the bklower so that they had to take the curved pipe and the distributor off. I worked in the field for an hour or so loading but my arm got so sore I had to come up and trade jobs with Tige McBride who was tramping in the silo. Ols Mr. Milly was in there too. I didn;tmind that job at all. On our eway home GFRank & I stoippe din at the mill and got a bag of crate fattening mixture for another bunch of cockrels which i shut up last night but Tom had been here and said he couldn;t get me any buttermilk. Dad. and I went out to-night and caught all the pullets we could find as Chris told Dad. to-day that he would be over Monday to take all that were any good for Jack and that he would give me 25 cys per lb for them. Fine day.
