I got some carbolic acid to heal any spots that come myself from now on. I wemnt up and got Aunty's mail right after dinner but and then came home but didn't do any work all the after noon. Enah and thr baby stayed down till afyter dark. Dad. & Frank plowed amd did chores all day and finished the back foeld to-nigjt. They had a couple of rag-men for dinner to-day who presented them with a tin pail in payment. Word came on Saturday that poor old Skelly Long had been killed in acytion and to-day Enah heard that Fred George had got a bukllet through the head.
